My stay at Pousada Verdes Flores in Brasilia's vibrant North Wing was a mixed bag. The room service and housekeeping were top-notch, providing a comfortable and clean space for my family and I to unwind after a day of exploring. The free WiFi and air conditioning were a welcome touch, ensuring we stayed connected and cool throughout our stay.However, while the location reflected the city's bohemian charm, it did raise safety concerns with questionable elements like prostitutes and homeless individuals nearby, impacting our overall sense of security. The breakfast, though advertised as a buffet, fell short of expectations, and the persistent shower leakage was a minor inconvenience.On the upside, the staff's kindness shone through, with their assistance beyond language barriers truly appreciated. The laundry facilities were handy, allowing us to keep our belongings fresh throughout our trip. The proximity to Lake Paranoa and Burle Marx Park offered picturesque strolls amidst nature's beauty.Although the Pousada Verdes Flores has its merits, its surroundings and certain discrepancies in service prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending it. For those seeking a budget-friendly option with basic amenities and a dash of local flair, this hotel may suit your needs, but it's imperative to keep an eye on your surroundings for a truly satisfying stay.
